UL and PEP ECOPASSPORT announced a mutual recognition !
On June 7, UL and PEP ECOPASSPORT announced a mutual recognition agreement on environmental declarations for electrical and electronic products to enhance their international visibilities. Under this agreement, manufacturers who have filed a PEP (Verified by an independant verifier certified by the program) will now be able to receive UL's Environmental Product Declaration (EPD) mark and be included in its database without further verification.
This event also highlights the international recognition that the PEP ECOPASSPORT association has acquired in the EEE and HVAC sectors.
